Pet parade and box turtle race

Box turtle race

Kids under 12 can enter their turtles into the box turtle race, where the turtles are placed inside a circle on stage and the first one outside of the line wins.

Registration for the race is at 10 a.m. and is completed with Nancy Helm. The race begins at 11 a.m.

Pet parade

Kids under 12 can participate in the pet parade, which includes animals both pets and toys and occurs on the fair’s stage. Categories include:

Most Unusual Pet (must be brought on stage)

Prettiest Rabbit

Cutest Puppy

Prettiest Mature Dog

Prettiest Kitten in a Basket

Prettiest Mature Cat

Best Decorated Sunglasses

Best Decorated Stuffed Animal

Decorated Doll Carriage or Wagon

Decorated Tricycle

Decorated Bicycle

Best Decorated Hat or Cap for Boys

Best Decorated Hat or Cap for Girls

Best Decorated Doll

Best Decorated Live Animal

Prizes are given to the top three in each category.
